Entrepierres (2024) was written by Ben Collins when he was 17, his first major work. It is based on a small village in the south of France, situated between two large mountains. The piece explores the feelings of being isolated in this village, the tranquility of the nature, and the sublimity of the storms. It is written for a large symphony orchestra.
Schezro for Trumpet and Piano (2025) is an audition piece dedicated and written for Bert Chun Chang. The piece is a standout work integrating both classical and jazz elements, with both virtuosic and expressive moments for the trumpet, acting as an ideal audition piece. There is also a version for trumpet and orchestra.
This place, for me (2026) is written for two grand and two upright pianos.
